Merge two or more business profiles
If your business has several domains, you might have multiple Trustpilot business profiles. Merging them together into a single profile can make it easier for customers to find your business, increasing transparency and building trust.
Consolidating your reviews and TrustScore also makes it easier for you to manage your reviews and gives you a better overall view of your business’s reputation on Trustpilot. You can request a profile merge if your business qualifies for one of the three reasons below.
-
Identical domains
You have multiple domains that redirect traffic to one main domain, domains with identical content, or the same content in different languages.
-
Rebranding
You’ve changed your business name or brand, and your old domain redirects traffic to your new domain.
-
Business merger or change of ownership
Your business has bought or taken over one or more other businesses.
Considerations before merging profiles
Profile merges are permanent and cannot be reversed, so there’s a few things to consider before you request one. Make sure to review our Guidelines for merging business profiles for more information.
Prepare your accounts
Complete the following necessary steps to prepare your Trustpilot Business accounts for the merge.
-
Claim all business profiles
All business profiles for each of the domains included in the merge need to be claimed. If you’re not sure how to claim a profile, check out this article.
-
Redirect your domains
All of the domains included in the merge need to automatically redirect to the main domain, except domains with identical content.
-
Check you’re an Admin
You need to be an Admin User for all business profiles included in the merge request. If the merge requester email doesn’t match the Admin User’s email address in your business accounts, we won’t be able to process your request.
