Zoho CRM + Trustpilot - Automatic Feedback Service (AFS) Setup

If you have access to Zoho Flow, please use the Trustpilot Integration with
that, otherwise, here is how to set up AFS in Zoho CRM.

1. Login to your Zoho CRM account and click on the “Setup” icon
towards the top right

2. From the “Setup” window, click on “Workflow Rules” under the
“Automation” tab

3. From within Workflow Rules click “Create Rule” (if you already have
a workflow you want to work off of, select that one and skip to Step
6.)

4. Select which Module you would like to send invites off of. You can
discuss this with your Implementation Manager to determine the best
trigger point. (For this example we are going to work off of Deals).
Click “Next”

5. Fill out the “When” and “Condition” sections as desired.

6. After you have filled out the “When” and “Condition” sections, click
on “Instant Actions” and select “Email Notification”

7. Click “+Create Email Notification”

8. From here you will need to:
a. Give the email a Name, we recommend something like
“Trustpilot Review Invite Email”

b. In the “To” section, you must click on “Add additional recipient” and add your unique Trustpilot AFS email address (registered here). Click “Save”

c. Next, you will need to do the following in this order:
i. Click “Select Template” then click “Create Template”
ii. Select “Insert HTML/ Plain Text”.
iii. Give the email a Name and a Subject

iv. Click “Plain Text” in the upper right-hand corner. Click “Ok” if a Pop Up Window pops up. After you click it, it should now read as “Rich Text”
Before clicking “Plain Text”:
v. Copy and paste the following to the body of the email:
<script type="application/json+trustpilot">
{
"recipientName": "${Accounts.Account Owner}",
"recipientEmail": "${Accounts.Email 1}",
"referenceId": "${Accounts.Account Id}"
}
</script>
***the placeholders in bold can be changed by typing “#” then adjust to the desired values***

vi. Click “Save” in the top right corner

d. Once you have finished the new email template, refresh the “Select Template” page to see the new template you created. Once selected, click “Save and Associate” in the bottom right corner

9. Double-check to make sure the Workflow looks correct, and click “Save” in the bottom left corner.

10. Once saved, Zoho should take you back to the “Workflow Rules” page, just double-check that the Workflow is activated, which should be green under the “Status” tab
You are now all set up using Zoho CRM and Trustpilot via our AFS method!
