Trustpilot's PayPal integration

This feature is included in the Free, Plus, Premium, Advanced, and Enterprise plans.

Our PayPal integration allows you to automate your service review collection each time an invoice is paid - both with online transactions, and in-person transactions through Point of Sale. Find out how to install the integration here.

Install the integration

To get started, follow these steps to authorize permission for Trustpilot to connect with PayPal:

  1. In Trustpilot Business, go to Integrations > Payment > PayPal.
  2. Click Connect.
  3. If you're not already logged into your PayPal account, you'll be prompted to do so. Click Agree and Connect to complete.

You'll be redirected back to Trustpilot Business. At this point, your PayPal account is connected and review invitations will be sent to your customers automatically after every purchase.

Send review invitations

Once you've set up the integration, all customers who pay an invoice using PayPal will receive an email invitation to leave a Trustpilot review of your business.

After integrating, invitations will begin to send automatically after a few minutes. You can change your invitation settings, such as timing and frequency, email settings, and more here.

All settings that you configure there will be applied to all invitations sent through the PayPal integration.

Disconnect the integration

If you no longer want to send review invitations with PayPal, you can disconnect the integration. 

  1. From your PayPal dashboard, hover over your username and select Account Settings.
  2. Select Account access, then click Change next to Log in with PayPal.
  3. Click Delete next to Trustpilot.
