Use Automatic Feedback Service with Magento 1

Automatic Feedback Service (AFS) can be used with Magento 1 to automatically send review invitations to your customers after they make a purchase or have a service experience with your business. We already have a dedicated integration, however you could use AFS an as an alternative.

It’s important to note that if you’re already using our Magento 1 integration, you shouldn’t use AFS as well. Doing so would result in invitations being duplicated and sent out to customers twice.

Set it up 

To get started, you’ll need to add your Trustpilot AFS address in your emails notification settings. Here’s how to do it:

  1. In Trustpilot Business, go to Get reviews > Automatic Feedback Service.
  2. Find your Unique Trustpilot email address and copy it.
  3. Log in to your Magento account.
  4. From the top menu, choose System > Configuration.
  5. In the left-hand menu, under Sales, choose Sales Emails > Shipment.
  6. In the field Send Shipment Email Copy To, paste the address you copied.
  7. Make sure that Send Shipment Email Copy Method is set to BCC.
  8. Click the Save config button at the top of the page.

Add your structured data snippet

Next, you’ll need to add a structured data snippet to your confirmation emails.

  1. In Magento, go to System > Transactional Emails.
  2. Click on the customer order confirmation template you’d like to modify.
  3. Add the structured data snippet (as seen below) to this template and choose Save Template.
