Add a structured data snippet to Shopify for Automatic Feedback Service

Automatic Feedback Service (AFS) can be used with Shopify to automatically send review invitations to your customers after they make a purchase or using your services. In this article, we'll show you how to send invitations with a specific locale, invitation delivery time or template ID.

It’s important to note that if you’re already using our Shopify integration, you shouldn’t use AFS as well. Doing so would result in invitations being duplicated and sent out to customers twice.

You can learn how to send a standard invitation using AFS with Shopify in this article here

If you want to customize your invitations by adding a specific locale, invitation delivery time, or template ID to the snippet, you should add the following codes instead:

For service reviews

<<!--<script type="application/json+trustpilot">
 {
"recipientName": "{{ customer.name  }}",
"recipientEmail": "{{ customer.email }}",
"referenceId": "{{ id }}",
"preferredSendTime": "{{ "now" | date: "%s" | plus: 864000 | date: "%Y-%m-%eT%H:%M:%S" }}"
"locale": "insert your locale",
"templateId": "insert your template ID"
}
</script>-->

Note: The plus: parameter stands for the number of days split in seconds. In this example, 864000 seconds = 10 days. Make sure to adjust it to your preferences.

For service and product reviews

<<!--<script type="application/json+trustpilot">
 {
"recipientEmail": "{{ customer.email }}",
"recipientName": "{{ customer.name }}",
"referenceId": "{{ order_name }}",
"productReviewInvitationPreferredSendTime": "{{ "now" | date: "%s" | plus: 864000 | date: "%Y-%m-%eT%H:%M:%S" }}",
"locale": "insert your locale",
"templateId": "insert your template ID",
"products": [
{% for line in line_items %}
{
"productUrl": "https://{{shop.domain}}/products/{{ line.product.id }}",
"imageUrl": "{{ line | img_url: 'thumb' }}",
"name": "{{ line.title }}",
"sku": "{{ line.sku }}"
},
{% endfor %}
]
}
</script>-->

Note: The plus: parameter stands for the number of days split in seconds. In this example, 864000 seconds = 10 days. Make sure to adjust it to your preferences.
