Trustpilot's Slack integration

This feature is included in the Standard plan

Upgrade now

Our Slack integration allows you to streamline your business’s customer service. Receive, sort, and reply to all your reviews from Slack without logging into Trustpilot or changing your workflow. Learn how to set up and manage the integration here.

Note: We don’t currently have a sandbox environment available for testing purposes.

Connect the integration

  1. In Trustpilot Business, go to Integrations > Customer Support. Click Slack.
  2. On the next page, click Add to Slack.

  1. Review the permissions. Choose or create a channel for Trustpilot to connect to. Make sure to invite @trustpilot to the channel if it’s a private one. Click Allow. A confirmation message will appear.

Manage the integration

Once installed, you’ll receive a Slack message from Trustpilot under Apps, as well as a message in the connected channel stating that the integration has been added. From here, you can manage your settings.

Note: You may need a developer to help you with this. Trustpilot has created resources on Github to help.

Reply to reviews

  1. In Slack, go to your channel that’s connected to Trustpilot.
  2. Enter the /trustpilot settings or /trustpilot feed command to begin. Change the settings to fit your preferences.

  1. Enter a command to view your reviews. For example, /trustpilot latest will display your latest unanswered review, and /trustpilot 5 stars will display all 5-star reviews.
  2. In the displayed review, click Reply. Enter your reply in the dialog box, then enter Return or click Send Message.

Disconnect the integration

  1. In Slack, go to Apps > Trustpilot. Click the information icon in the top right-hand corner. Click More, then select Configuration from the drop-down menu.

  1. Under Authorizations, find your authorizations and click Revoke. In the dialog box, click Revoke again to confirm. Repeat this step for all of your authorizations.

Delete the integration

If you’re an administrator for your business’s Slack account, you can delete the integration completely.

  1. In Slack, go to Apps > Trustpilot. Click the information icon in the top right-hand corner. Click More, then select Configuration from the drop-down menu.
  2. Scroll down and click Remove App. In the dialog box, click Remove App again to confirm.
