Our Shopware integration allows you to automate your review collection, add widgets to your site, and invite customers to write reviews. Here's how to set it up and manage it.
This integration supports Shopware versions 5.3-5.6.
We don’t currently have a sandbox environment available for testing purposes. This integration is not compatible with Internet Explorer.

- Back on on Shopware, go to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews. If prompted, log in.
- Review the legal terms and check I understand and accept. Click Confirm.
Manage the integration
Once you've installed the integration, the Trustpilot Reviews tab is available under Marketing on your admin panel. From here, you can manage your settings, send review invitations, and add a widget.
Send review invitations
Set up invitations
An order from your Shopware web store automatically triggers an email invitation to your customer to write a service review on Trustpilot. Here’s how to configure the email settings:
- In Shopware, go to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.
- Under Invitations, you can configure your Sender name, reply-to email, Trustpilot website, and Send delay. You can also choose different language settings for your individual websites. Please note that choosing different languages is not possible if you have multiple domains under the same Shopware account.
- You can also configure the invitation trigger by choosing between two options. Order confirmed sends an invitation to customers when Shopware is processing their order. Order completed sends an invitation when their order is completed.
- Click Save changes.
Include product review invitations
If you use product reviews for your business, you can turn on the option to include them in your invitation emails.
- In Shopware, go to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.
- Under Product Reviews, enable the Turn product review invitations on toggle.
- Fill in the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) to let us know where you are saving your SKUs.
You can scan your SKUs by clicking Check that all your products have SKUs. Trustpilot will scan all your products and check for missing SKUs. If any SKU data is missing you can go back to your Shopware admin product section and update.
- Fill in the GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) and MPN (Manufacturer Part Number). These fields are optional.
- Click Save changes.
Invite customers
You can choose to invite customers to review your business from the last 7 days to 6 months ago.
- In Shopware, go to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.
- Under Past Orders, choose the period you want.
- Click Sync up orders to save.
- You can view synced orders after you save. If there are any that failed to sync, you’ll see them at the bottom of the page. To try again, click Re-sync.
Add or delete a TrustBox widget
Add a widget
You can add multiple TrustBox widgets to your website using this integration. Follow these steps:
- In Shopware, go to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.

- To edit your TrustBox, hover over where you have placed it and click Customize. TrustBox Settings will appear on the left-hand side of the page, where you can configure the TrustBox as you like.
If you choose the Product TrustBox, your data-sku attribute will be updated automatically. Remember to add it to your product page.
- To publish the widget on your site, click Publish Changes.
Delete a widget
If you want to delete a widget from your site:
- Hover over the widget and click on the trash bin icon on the right corner. Click Publish changes.
