This feature is included in the Free plan

Get started now

Trustpilot’s Shopware integration allows you to automate your review collection, add TrustBox widgets to your site, and invite customers to write reviews. It supports Shopware versions 5.0 and higher. Learn how to set up and manage it here.

Note: We don’t currently have a sandbox environment available for testing purposes. This integration is not compatible with Internet Explorer.

Download the integration

  1. From your Trustpilot Business account, navigate to Integrations > Ecommerce. Click Shopware.
  2. On the next page, click Download. You don’t need to open the file.

Install the integration

  1. Log into your Shopware account. On the Shopware Admin Panel, navigate to Configuration > Plugin manager.

  1. On the next page, navigate to Installed > Upload plugin. Select the file you just downloaded from Trustpilot, then click Upload plugin.

  1. Once the upload is finished, Trustpilot will be under Uninstalled plugins on this page. Click the Install (Plus sign) icon > Activate.

  1. When prompted by the dialog box, clean your cache. Agree and wait for it to finish. If prompted by the Theme compiling dialog box, select your shop and click Start process.
  2. Back on the Shopware Admin Panel, navigate to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews. If prompted, log in.

  1. Review the legal terms and check I understand and accept. Then click Confirm.

Manage the integration

Once you've installed the integration, the Trustpilot Reviews tab is available under Marketing on your Admin Panel. From here, you can manage your settings.

Configure your invitations

An order from your Shopware web store automatically triggers an email invitation to your customer to write a service review on Trustpilot. Here’s how to configure the email settings:

  1. Log into your Shopware account. On the Shopware Admin Panel, navigate to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.

  1. Under Invitations, you can configure your Sender name, reply-to email, Trustpilot website, and Send delay. You can also choose different language settings for your individual websites.

  1. You can also configure the invitation trigger by choosing between two options. Order confirmed sends an invitation to customers when Shopware is processing their order. Order completed sends an invitation when their order is completed.
  2. Click Save changes.

Include Product Review invitations

If you use Trustpilot’s Product Reviews for your business, you can turn on the option to include them in your invitation emails.

  1. Log into your Shopware account. On the Shopware Admin Panel, navigate to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.
  2. Under Product Reviews, enable the Turn product review invitations on toggle.
  3. Fill in the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) to let us know where you are saving your SKUs.
Note: You can scan your SKUs by clicking Check that all your products have SKUs. Trustpilot will scan all your products and check for missing SKUs. If any SKU data is missing you can go back to your Shopware Admin product section and update.
  1. Fill in the GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) and MPN (Manufacturer Part Number). These fields are optional.
  2. Click Save changes.

Invite customers

You can choose to invite customers to review your business from the last 7 days to 6 months ago.

  1. Log into your Shopware account. On the Shopware Admin Panel, navigate to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.
  2. Under Past Orders, choose the period you want.
  3. Click Sync up orders to save.
  4. You can view synced orders after you save. If there are any that failed to sync, you’ll see them at the bottom of the page. To try again, click Re-sync.

Add or Delete a TrustBox

You can add multiple TrustBox widgets to your website using this integration. Follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Shopware account. On the Shopware Admin Panel, navigate to Marketing > Trustpilot Reviews.
  2. Under TrustBox, click Try it out. You’ll be directed to a new window. Choose the TrustBox you want, and drag and drop it on your site display to test it. You can move it wherever you want.
  3. To edit your TrustBox, hover over where you have placed it and click Customize. TrustBox Settings will appear on the left-hand side of the page, where you can configure the TrustBox as you like.
Note: If you choose the Product TrustBox, your data-sku attribute will be updated automatically. Remember to add it to your product page.
  1. To publish the TrustBox on your site, click Publish Changes.
  2. If you want to delete a TrustBox from your site, click the trash bin, then click Publish changes.
