Set up product reviews so customers can review your business’s products. Find out more about them here.
What are product reviews?
Product reviews give your customers the opportunity to review the specific products they’ve purchased from your business. Customers can rate a product overall, or individual product attributes.
Where can I find product reviews?
Product reviews are typically displayed next to a product on your business’s website, so potential customers can read them before making a purchase decision.
What are the benefits?
Showcase product reviews on your website: Customers can see the reviews on your website’s product page when you display them with our product review TrustBoxes.
Compare products: Find out why certain products really shine, and which might need attention.
Enhance Google Ads: If your business purchases ads on Google, you can use product reviews to enrich ads. In order for Google to pick up the product feed from Trustpilot, include the GTIN, MPN, and brand in your product catalog, and ensure that SKUs or product URLs match.
What types of products can be reviewed?
Anything your company sells can be considered a product for review. They can be tangible things (e.g. clothes) or intangible things (e.g. computer repairs).
Each product should:
- Be clearly distinguishable from other products.
- Have its own product page on your business’s website.
- Be sold directly to the customer.
A business can’t be a product, nor can its individual store locations.
Invite customers to leave a product review
For now, customers who've bought something from your business can only write a product review if you send them an invitation.
Note: There's a limit of 20 products for each product review invitation.
