Trustpilot's WordPress integration

This feature is included in the Free, Plus, Premium, Advanced, and Enterprise plans.

Our WordPress integration allows you to add widgets to your website. It supports WordPress versions 3.5.1 and higher. Learn how to set up and manage it here.

We don’t currently have a sandbox environment available for testing purposes. This integration is not compatible with Internet Explorer.

Download the integration

  1. In Trustpilot Business, go to Integrations > Ecommerce > WordPress.
  2. On the next page, click Download zip file. You don’t need to open the file.

Install the integration

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New.

  1. At the top of the page, click Upload Plugin.

  1. Click Choose File. Select the file you just downloaded from Trustpilot, then click Install Now.

  1. Under Installing Plugin from uploaded file, you'll see Plugin installed successfully when the installation is complete. Click Activate Plugin.

  1. Once activated, you’ll now see the Trustpilot tab on the WordPress admin panel. Click the tab and log in.

  1. Review the legal terms and check I understand and accept. Then click Confirm.

Manage the integration

Once you've installed the integration, the Trustpilot tab is available in your WordPress admin panel. From here, you can manage your settings and add a TrustBox to display your reviews.

Add or delete a TrustBox widget

Add a widget

  1. In WordPress, click the Trustpilot tab.
  2. Under TrustBox, choose the widget you want, and drag and drop it on your site display to test it. You can move it wherever you want.

If you choose the Product TrustBox widget, your data-sku attribute will be updated automatically. Remember to add it to your product page.

  1. Hover over the preview of your widget and click Customize. The TrustBox settings column will appear on the left-hand side of the page showing your customization options.

  1. To publish the widget on your site, click Publish changes.

Delete a widget

If you want to delete a widget from your site:

  1. Hover over the widget and click on the trash bin icon on the right corner. Click Publish changes.
  2. A pop-up will appear to tell you the changes have been made. Click Done.

Don’t want to use the integration anymore? No problem. Follow these steps to disconnect it:

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.

  1. Under the Trustpilot integration, click Deactivate.

Delete the integration

If you’d like to delete the integration:

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
  2. Find the Trustpilot integration. Click Deactivate, then click Delete.
