How to access, download or delete your personal data (for reviewers)

In line with the GDPR, we give you control over your personal data so you can find out what data Trustpilot has about you and how to access, correct, download or delete it.

Your personal data on Trustpilot

Our Privacy Policy for reviewers (US version, UK version) explains what information we collect from you, how we collect it, and what we use it for.

Access your data

We have an easy-to-use function that lets you see all of the personal data that Trustpilot currently holds about you. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this is called the right of access by the data subject or a data subject access request.

To access your data:

  1. Log in to Trustpilot and click on your profile picture icon in the top right corner of the screen. Select My Settings.
  2. On your My Settings menu, in the See your Trustpilot data section, click the link. This provides you with an overview of what data we have and why we have it.

Your data includes:

  • Your downloadable profile — all of your product and service reviews, your profile information, and signup IP address.
  • A record of the companies that asked Trustpilot to invite you to leave reviews.
  • A record of any communication activity you've had with our Content Integrity Team.
  • Information about any reviews that you've flagged to our Content Integrity Team for breaching our guidelines.

Download your personal data

If you would like to download your personal information and any reviews you have created on Trustpilot, you can do this easily from within your own Trustpilot profile. In GDPR terms, this is called the right to portability. Essentially, this means that you have a right to download your personal data (e.g. reviews).

To download your personal information:

  1. Log in to Trustpilot and click on your profile picture icon in the top right corner of the screen. Select My Settings.
  2. On your My Settings menu, in the Download your profile section, click the Download information button.

This lets you download your personal profile information, including any service and product reviews that you've written, as a structured and easy-to-read text called a JSON format.

For review invitations data: If you want to download (or even delete) review invitations data used to send you review invitation emails, be aware that the business on whose behalf we send those invitations is the data controller and we are the data processor under the GDPR. This means that you should send your request to download or delete that data to the business you've been invited to review — and not us.

Delete your personal data

If you would like to remove all of your personal data (including your profile and reviews) from Trustpilot, you can request to have it permanently deleted from our systems. In the GDPR, this is called the right to erasure or right to be forgotten.

There are two ways to permanently remove yourself from Trustpilot's systems and delete all of your data:

  1. Email with a request to be permanently erased from Trustpilot's systems.
  2. Log in to Trustpilot and click on your profile picture icon in the top right corner of the screen, and select My Settings. On the My Settings menu, in the Delete user section, click the Delete my profile button.

Important: If you change your mind, this action cannot be undone. We won't be able to recover your reviews, let companies know about your reviews, or reinstate anything you created on Trustpilot — so please be absolutely certain that you want to delete your account!

For data connected to business accounts: If you hold a business account with us and want to request erasure of the personal data we hold about you in connection to that account, this is a separate process. Personal data provided for your business is not connected to your reviewer identity on Trustpilot, so you must send a separate request to erase your business account. For assistance with this, you can always email our Privacy Team at
