Product Reviews - How to send manual invitations to your customers

We have made inviting your customers to leave Product Reviews easy. These invitations are designed to collect both Product and Service reviews with a single email invitation. Follow our customized instructions below to start collecting Product and Service reviews today.

  1. Go to your Business Portal and select the Invitations module
  2. Next, click on Invite Customers
  3. Select Product Reviews
  4. Click on Select file and upload your CSV file containing the relevant customer and product data.

Please note that the CSV file containing your customer and product data has a strict column order that must be followed. The file must include the following data in this order:

  • Customer email - Email address of the customer
  • Customer name - Name of the customer
  • Reference number - The customer’s internal reference code (typically the reference number)
  • SKU - SKU code of the product
  • Product name - The name of the product
  • Product-URL - The URL of the specific product on your website
  • Image URL - The URL of the specific picture on your website (optional)

Note: It is possible to include multiple products in one email invitation. Once the customer's email address and reference number are the same, multiple SKUs entered for different products will be automatically sent in a single email. Please be aware that product SKUs must be listed on separate lines.

Once a CSV file is selected, the content of the file is analyzed. A message in a green box indicates all lines in the file are correctly formatted. You are ready to continue.

However, if you receive a message in a yellow or red box, this indicates that some or all of the lines in the file are incorrectly formatted. The message will contain information explaining the error(s). When incorrect lines are detected, you will be given an opportunity to download a file containing the invalid lines only, with information explaining the error(s).

Once you click on Continue, the system now checks for invalid characters in the file. An invalid character will render a line invalid. If invalid characters are found, a message indicating that there are invalid lines in the file will be shown.

  1. Click Continue
  2. Set up your sender information and click continue.
  3. Configure your landing page and customize your template and click next
  4. You will now see a summary of the invites you are about to send out. Click Send invitations now if the summed up information is correct.
  5. A pop-up window will show while the data is being transferred to our server. After we have received the data, you will see the following confirmation screen and you are done:
