Our Hootsuite integration makes it easy to incorporate reviews in your social media marketing strategy. You can use the app to share reviews to your social networks, as well as to reply to reviews directly from Hootsuite. 

Install the integration

1. In Hootsuite, click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner. Select App directory.
2. In the search tool, type "Trustpilot Reviews". Click Install.
3. You have two options for how the stream will be displayed: Add streams to a new tab or Add streams to an existing tab. Once you’ve made your selection, click Finish.
4. You will now see Trustpilot Reviews in your stream. Log in to your Trustpilot Business account by clicking on the Log in to your business account button.

Set up your streams

You can show reviews for one website per stream. If you have multiple websites and want to see reviews for all of them, you can add multiple streams. Here’s how:

1. In Hootsuite, find your Streams using the left side menu.
2. Click Add stream, located on the toolbar. A pop-up will appear. Select Apps.
3. Click Trustpilot Reviews. This will create a new stream.
4. Find the stream you just created and click the gear icon. Click Log out.
5. The stream will be cleared and you will be prompted to log in to your Trustpilot Business account. Log in to the account associated with the website you want to create the stream for.

Share your reviews

1. Find the review you’d like to share in your stream, and hover your cursor over it. A Share review icon will appear in the top right corner. Click on the icon.
2. A pop-up will appear with a pre-populated quote from the review and a short link to the review on Trustpilot. You can edit the content to share whatever part of the review you’d like.
3. Either share immediately by clicking Post Now or click the calendar icon to schedule the post to be shared at a later time.

Reply to a review

1. Find the review you’d like to reply to in your stream, and hover your cursor over it. A Reply to review icon will appear in the top right corner. Click on the icon.
2. Write your comment and press Reply. After your reply has been published, you have the option to Edit or Delete it directly in the reply.

Filter your reviews

If you'd like to filter your reviews by rating or reply status, click the funnel icon at the top of your stream. You can choose to filter the reviews by star rating, Replied or Not replied. Once you've selected your criteria, click the funnel icon again.

It's possible to have multiple streams showing reviews for the same website. For example, you can have one stream showing 1-star reviews and another showing 4-star and 5-star reviews. Just create multiple streams and filter accordingly.

Delete a stream

If you want to delete a stream, click on the horizontal dots icon in the top right corner of the stream, then click Delete Stream in the drop-down menu.

Delete the integration

1. In Hootsuite, click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner. Select App directory.
2. Under My Apps, click Installed.
3. Find Trustpilot Reviews. Hover over the Installed button. It will change to say Uninstall. Click to uninstall and click OK to confirm.
