FAQ - Stopping Support of the JSON and RSS Feeds

Why are we sunsetting the RSS and JSON feeds?

To offer our customers the most standardized, secure, and up-to-date technology resources for your development environment, Trustpilot has stopped support of our RSS and JSON feeds since the 30th of September 2016.

Both feeds will be sunset on the 31st of March 2017.

Customers using RSS and JSON feeds will need to transition to either our TrustBox widgets or Public API.

What can I use instead of the RSS or JSON feeds?

No developer? No problem!

Try one of ourTrustBox widgets. They are easy to implement, so you can simply plug and play. TrustBoxes are included as part of your Trustpilot package.

Getting a new TrustBox is this easy:

  1. Visit our TrustBox Library
  2. Select one of our awesome TrustBoxes
  3. Copy the TrustBox code and paste it on your website

Use your developers

The most versatile way to display your service or product reviews is through our REST API. The majority of developers will know how to use APIs, and we are confident that you will find the implementation very straightforward.

To display your reviews in the same way as using the RSS or JSON feed, you will need to use our Public API.

All you need to get started is an API key and your Business Unit ID. If you do not have this information, please contact your Account Manager or our Business Support Team, and they will guide you through the steps.

To learn more about migrating your current integration, we’ve created a detailed Migration Guide with all the information you’ll need.
