How to add a TrustBox in WordPress

This guide is for WordPress users who want to implement a TrustBox on their website. (Important: Your WordPress subscription must include customization of website header files).

To create and modify your store's content, WordPress allows you to add custom HTML, JAVASCRIPT, and CSS code snippets.

Please note that Trustpilot is not responsible and does not provide technical support to third-party plugins.

How to add a TrustBox on your website:

  1. In your WordPress account, navigate to Appearance/Editor.
  2. Click on Theme Header under Templates section.
  3. Now, go to Integrations in your Trustpilot business account and select the TrustBox Library.
  4. Find the TrustBox you’d like to implement and click on Learn more to see instructions.
  5. Copy the script part of the code snippet from TrustBox (See Get Code button).
  6. Back in WordPress, paste the script part of snippet from TrustBox in Header between <head></head>.
  7. Click Update File.
  8. Navigate to Pages, then click on Edit for the page you want to add the TrustBox.
  9. Click on Text to switch the view.
  10. Copy the body part of the snippet from the TrustBox.
  11. Paste the body part of the snippet from the TrustBox on your page.
  12. Click update.
  13. The TrustBox is now visible on your page.

How to add multiple TrustBoxes on your website:

We’ve shown you how to add one TrustBox, using the Carousel TrustBox as an example. Now, we’ll show you how to add another TrustBox, using the Horizontal TrustBox as an example.

  1. Find the page you want to add a TrustBox.
  2. Click on Text to switch the view.
  3. Add the body part of your Horizontal TrustBox.
  4. Click Update.
  5. Both TrustBoxes are available on your website.

How to remove a TrustBox from your website:

  1. In WordPress, navigate to Pages, then click on Edit for the page you added the TrustBox.
  2. Click on Text to switch the view.
  3. Remove the custom HTML you added.
  4. Click on Update.
  5. Navigate to Appearance/Editor.
  6. Click on Theme Header under Templates section.
  7. Remove the script part of the snippet you added in Header between <head></head>.
