How to add a TrustBox in Squarespace

This guide is for Squarespace users who want to implement a TrustBox on their website.

To create and modify your store's content, Squarespace allows you to add custom HTML, JAVASCRIPT, and CSS code snippets.

How to add a TrustBox on a specific page

  1. Open your Squarespace page in edit mode by clicking the arrow in the top left corner.
  2. Find the page where you’d like to insert your TrustBox and choose Settings
  3. Click on Advanced
  4. Go to Integrations in your business account and select the TrustBox Library.
  5. Find the TrustBox you’d like to implement and click on Learn more to see instructions.
  6. Copy script part of the code snippet from TrustBox.
  7. Paste script part of the code snippet into the Page Header Code Injection field
  8. Click Save
  9. Find the page where you’d like to insert your TrustBox and choose Edit.
  10. Click on the black insert point where you’d like to add the TrustBox.
  11. A pop-up will display available blocks for your website.
  12. Select Code.
  13. A new pop-up will appear with a field requiring the TrustBox code snippets from Trustpilot.
  14. Copy the body part of the code snippet from TrustBox

  1. Paste the body part of the code snippet from Trustpilot into the Squarespace field:
  2. Click Apply and then Save.
  3. Refresh your page on a different tab to see if the TrustBox is showing. In this example, we used the Carousel TrustBox:

How to add multiple TrustBoxes on a Squarespace website

We’ve shown you how to add one TrustBox, using the Carousel TrustBox as an example. Now, we’ll show you how to add another TrustBox to the same webpage, using the Horizontal TrustBox as an example.

Note that in our TrustBox Library, we provide you with suggested placements for each of our TrustBoxes.

  1. Click Edit in the area that you’d like to add the TrustBox, e.g. Footer Bottom Blocks.
  2. Click on the black insert point where you’d like to place the TrustBox.
  3. A pop-up will display the blocks available for your website.
  4. Select Code.
  5. A new pop-up will appear with a field requiring the TrustBox code snippets from Trustpilot.
  6. Copy both code snippets from the TrustBox.
  7. Click Apply, then Save.
  8. The Horizontal TrustBox will be displayed on the same webpage as the Carousel TrustBox.

How to remove a TrustBox from a Squarespace website

  1. Find the page displaying your TrustBox and choose Edit.
  2. Hover over the TrustBox.
  3. Click on the red garbage/trash icon.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Find the page you added your TrustBox and choose Settings.
  6. Click Advanced.
  7. Remove the code snippet from the Page Header Code Injection field.
  8. Click Save.
  9. The TrustBox will be removed from the website.
