How to upgrade from Trustpilot's Salesforce integration 1.13 to 1.14

This feature is part of the Salesforce integration add-on module, which can be purchased in addition to the Advanced and Enterprise plans.

These instructions only apply if you started your Trustpilot plan before April 2024. If you started your Trustpilot plan after April 2024, please read the following article.

Install the new integration version of the integration

  1. Install your Salesforce package through a link provided to you by a contact at Trustpilot. 
  2. Once you click the link, install your Trustpilot Salesforce integration for All Users.

Set permissions

In Salesforce, take the following steps to assign permissions to your users:

  1. Go to Setup > Users.
  2. Click the user you wish to give access to.
  3. Click on Permission Set Assignments.image-20240808-132941.png
  4. Next to Permission Set Assignments, click the Edit Assignments button.
  5. Be sure to select Trustpilot App Super User from the box on the left.image-20240819-130408.png
  6. Click the Add arrow to move Trustpilot App Super User to the box on the right.
  7. Once added, hit Save.

Disconnect and reconnect the integration to Trustpilot Business

In Trustpilot Business take the following steps to disconnect the Salesforce installation version 1.13 and connect version 1.14:

  1. Go to Integrations > Payment & CRM > Salesforce.
  2. Click the Disconnect button.image-20240730-131911 (1).png
  3. Click the Connect button to reconnect.image-20240730-131613.png
  4. A Salesforce window will open. Here, click Allow to enable Trustpilot access to Salesforce.

Be sure you are logged into the correct Salesforce instance you intend to connect Trustpilot to by checking if the URL is as expected.

Once redirected back to Trustpilot Business, the upgrade to the newest Salesforce integration version (installation version 1.14) should be complete.
