Our HubSpot integration allows you to send automated Trustpilot service review invitations to contacts following key sales, customer service, and marketing interactions.
This integration is only available for service reviews.
This integration is currently only available in English-speaking markets.
Install the integration
- In Trustpilot Business, go to Integrations > Payment & CRM > HubSpot.
- Click the Connect button.
- If you haven’t already, log in to HubSpot.
- Select the Trustpilot account you want to connect to your HubSpot account.
- Click Choose Account.
- Click Connect app in order to accept the permissions and connect Trustpilot to HubSpot.
Once connected, HubSpot will appear as a tile on the right side of your HubSpot integration page.
Configure the integration
To configure your HubSpot integration in Trustpilot Business, follow these steps:
- Decide on a HubSpot action to trigger review invitations. From the drop-down menu, select one of the following objects:
- Deal
- Ticket
- Contact
- Then, select a Status from the drop-down. The options will vary depending on the object:

- Appointment Scheduled
- Qualified To Buy
- Presentation Scheduled
- Decision Marker Brought-In
- Contract Sent
- Closed Won
- Closed Lost

- New
- Waiting on contact
- Waiting on us
- Closed

Under Which email template would you like to use?, choose the email template that you want to send. You can choose from default template and templates you created yourself.

Under When should we send a review invitation?, select a time delay for review invitations. If you don’t select a time delay, invitations are sent based on the time delay that you set in your invitation time and delivery settings in Trustpilot Business for your domain.
- Slide the toggle to turn on Automatic tagging. This will automatically tag any Trustpilot reviews from HubSpot with details like Deal, Company, and Customer ID.
Activate review invitations
Slide the toggle Activate Review Invitations to enable automatic review invitations. Once activated, review invitations will be sent automatically whenever you update a deal or ticket status in HubSpot to the one you selected in the previous step.
Review invitations will not be sent out immediately, but after a 7-day delay after you set your HubSpot deal stage to Closed Won or ticket to Closed Resolved.
To check whether a service invitation has been triggered, do the following:
In Trustpilot Business, go to Get reviews > Invitation status. If you see that the invitation has been Queued, the integration has worked!
Delete the integration
If you no longer want to use the integration, simply disconnect the integration from Trustpilot Business by clicking on the Disconnect from HubSpot button on the HubSpot integration page.
