TrustScore forecast lets you project how changes to your review collection and ratings may impact your TrustScore over the next year.
You’ll be able to predict how changes in key review metrics, like review numbers and average star rating, will affect your future TrustScore.
How it works
We combine your past and current review data (specifically star rating, the number of reviews, and the timing of those reviews) with customizable predictions (your expected review volume and average rating) to project your TrustScore over a 12-month period.
Default forecast
The default forecast shows how your TrustScore could evolve over the next 12 months based on your recent review volume and the average score of those reviews. The forecast is refreshed daily based on the latest 90-day rolling average numbers.
Create a custom forecast
You can create up to 3 custom forecasts based on specific scenarios.
- In Trustpilot Business, go to Analytics > Review Insights > TrustScore forecast.
- Click the blue plus button.
- Enter the forecast inputs for the Number of reviews and Average review rating. You can use the sliding scale or enter the numbers manually.
- Click Calculate.
Edit or delete a custom forecast
Once a forecast is created, it can’t be edited. Instead, you’ll need to delete the forecast and create a new one. Here’s how:
- In Trustpilot Business, go to Analytics > Review Insights > TrustScore forecast.
- Find the forecast you want to delete.
- Click the trash icon in the top right. Click Delete to confirm.
Forecast dashboards
In addition to your forecasts, you’ll see a few dashboards with your TrustScore forecast data. If you click on the info box of a custom forecast, the dashboards will adjust to show data for the selected forecast compared to the default forecast.
