I have a lot of negative reviews, can you please delete them from your site so that they get out of Google? Reviews can only be deleted from Trustpilot if they are in breach of our terms and conditions or local legislation. If you believe a review is in breach, you can report it to Trustpilot's customer service. While the review is being investigated, the stars and the text in the review will be replaced with a message notifying Trustpilot's visitors that this review is being investigated. After investigation the review will either be deleted or restored to Trustpilot. When a review is deleted, we remove it from Trustpilot's Index and no longer share it with Google. This will usually make the review disappear in Google. However, it is only Google that can delete content from their own index, and we cannot influence the speed with which this is done. It may take up to 2-4 weeks before a review is removed from Google’s index.
When searching for my company, negative reviews on Trustpilot appear in Google's Search Engine Results page. What can I do about that? If you have a lot of happy customers, you should invite them to write a review. This will not make the bad reviews go away – but you will make sure that your happy customers are also heard. This gives a more balanced picture of your company and reduces the effect of a few negative reviews. Also, please remember that negative reviews are not necessarily a bad thing. We all make mistakes. Customers know this, and they expect a few negative reviews.
I replied to a review – will the reply be visible in Google? A good reply to a negative review is a fantastic opportunity to show that you care. Replies can potentially be found in organic Google search results like everything else on Trustpilot's site. Replies will however, not be displayed in Google Shopping Merchant Reviews.
